Stanislaus Multi-Cultural Community Health Coalition (SMCHC)*West Modesto/King Kennedy Neighborhood Collaborative is a community based not for profit organization that believes in the strength of the community residents to come together for effective change. With diversity and common concerns at the core, the Collaborative views involvement of men and women of different backgrounds and ethnicity as a high priority in improving the health and safety of the community.

The Stanislaus Multi-Cultural Community Health Coalition (SMCHC)*West Modesto/ King Kennedy Neighborhood (WMKKNC) is a direct result of the formation of the Stanislaus County Minority Community Health Coalition, which was established April 22, 1991. As a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit, the SMCHC/WMKKNC has overseen the coordination and implementation of numerous projects and services in West Modesto with a membership of over five hundred (450) members comprised of over fifty percent (50%) community residents and the remainder city/county representatives, faith-based organizations, educators and local businesses.
