Preparing parents and their children for enriching, mutually-supportive, healthy relationships.
Funded by First 5 of Stanislaus, PlanetBaby! is open to all expectant mothers and moms of children under 1 year. This workshop teaches skills like household budgeting, nutrition, and lifestyle choices that support the baby’s health and strengthen the bond between mother and child. Participants earn points that can be used to buy diapers and other basic supplies.
Schedule: Tuesdays: 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. via zoom. New sessions monthly on the 1st Tuesday of every month. Contact us to enroll.
Funded by private donations to WMCC, this early childhood development program is for families with kids 1-5. Activities promote skill-building, nutrition, and parent-child bonding through interactive activities. Families receive activity bags promoting art, reading, counting, music, and more. Each activity bag also includes a healthy and allergy-safe snack.
Schedule: Participants pick up activity bags at our main center on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month. Contact us to enroll.
Sponsored by private donations to WMCC, Scouts in our Troop range in age from 5-17 and gain the Girl Scout experience at no cost to their families.
Schedule: Meetings are held at West Modesto Community Collaborative in the King-Kennedy Center with Troop Leader, Blanca Marin at 4 p.m. on the 1st and 3rd Friday, of every month. Contact us to enroll.
