To uplift our Modesto communities by providing outreach services focused on Health, Safety, and Education for all individuals through community engagement and advocacy.
Founded in 1991 by a coalition of concerned citizens working in public service and education, WMCC (formerly The Stanislaus Multi-Cultural Community Health Coalition) has always focused on creating access to and awareness of issues impacting health. Success is achieved through thoughtful collaboration with faith-based organizations, city services, schools, and community-based organizations.
Your donations to WMCC help provide interactive educational materials to toddlers in our Lightning Bug program, stipends for our bilingual outreach workers, and so much more. Our Federal Tax ID is 31-1751288 and your contribution is fully tax-deductible.

“I had COVID, and I was down. I had no energy whatsoever, and the whole family had it, so the people I would rely on couldn’t help; we were all quarantined. The testing facility put me in touch with WMCC. They asked me what I needed, and I just said soups and waters. But then they thought of things I wouldn’t have thought of, like shower soap. They brought it to my door and there was no contact whatsoever. This is a program that definitely cares and helps. If it wasn’t for this program, I don’t know how I would have survived the two weeks of quarantine. Everyone in my family is fully recovered and I am now vaccinated. I am so thankful.”
