Essential resources and support for our community

Counseling & Wellbeing Services

Counseling & Wellbeing Services

Counseling & Wellbeing Services

Our Wellness Center offers free mental health counseling and support for individuals and families dealing with mild to moderate mental health symptoms. Located within the residential area of West Modesto, the program is accessible to the community and requires no insurance. We are dedicated to providing care that promotes well-being and stability, at no cost to those in need.

Navigation Program

Counseling & Wellbeing Services

Counseling & Wellbeing Services

The Navigation Program helps residents access essential resources like housing, employment, and education, promoting stability and well-being. Through strategic partnerships, we’ve expanded our reach to include a variety of services, such as fresh food distribution with the Food Initiative of Greater Stanislaus, a small food pantry supported by Second Harvest, and financial literacy workshops in collaboration with Valley First and Chase. We also offer ESL classes through Learning Quest, workforce development resources with Opportunity Stanislaus and the VOLT On-the-Go program, and utility assistance workshops with Modesto Irrigation District. Additionally, PG&E supports residents in accessing available assistance programs. Together, these efforts address a broad range of community needs, creating pathways to greater stability and opportunity.

West Modesto Community Collaborative is committed to advancing health equity by addressing the social, environmental, and systemic factors that impact the well-being of families in West and South Modesto and surrounding communities.

As a partner and active member of the Stanislaus Health Coalition, WMCC participates in all three Action Work Groups (AWGs) that emerged from the County’s Community Health Assessment (CHA) and now inform the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP). We are actively engaged in the:

  • Behavioral Health AWG
  • Chronic Disease AWG
  • Healthcare Access AWG

Through these collaborative efforts, we help identify community priorities, elevate resident voice, and support coordinated strategies that improve long-term health outcomes across Stanislaus County.
