 Our monthly Community Builders meetings continue to serve as a vital space for residents, key stakeholders, and local officials to come together, share concerns, and shape the future of our community. These gatherings foster collaboration, ensure transparency, and provide essential resources while giving residents a voice in decision-making. By hosting these meetings, we remain committed to strengthening community engagement and driving meaningful impact. 

The People's Plan for Stanislaus County, also known as "El Plan del Pueblo," is a community-driven initiative aimed at addressing economic and social challenges. It seeks to develop sustainable, locally-based solutions for job creation and economic development, prioritizing the well-being of all residents, rather than just large industries like agriculture and manufacturing. What sets it apart is its emphasis a grassroot bottom-up solution, involving BIPOC residents and innovative strategies that prioritize people in inclusive economic planning.

 The podcast serves as a platform for connecting, informing, and empowering the residents of West Modesto and surrounding areas. The show highlights community stories, resources, and events while addressing key issues affecting our county. 

West Modesto's People of Action Council is a neighborhood advocacy group tackles a range of topics aimed at promoting wellness and civic engagement. Any/all residents and business owners in West Modesto are encouraged to attend!

Schedule: Meetings are held in person on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at WMCC.

Promotores are those who bring information about our resources to the community. This community outreach program raises awareness of resources to support health and basic household needs. These essential volunteers receive a monthly stipend for their field-based outreach throughout Modesto, connecting community members with any/all services offered by WMCC.
