West Modesto Community Collaboratives creates an environment where community members can learn to be advocates for their community and for themselves. Our center is located at the King Kennedy Memorial Center in which we hold meetings such as the Community Builders meetings, The People's Plan meetings, city meetings, and county meetings. We encourage our community members to participate in our meetings from public health to education and infrastructure development in West Modesto.

Community Builders is an initiative that began in 2021. These community advocacy meetings aim to bring community members, leaders, and stakeholders together to identify and address specific challenges or opportunities within their locality. The goals usually include improving living conditions, promoting equity, and advocating for positive changes.
Ultimately, community advocacy meetings empower participants by giving them a voice and the tools to make positive changes in their community. This sense of empowerment can lead to a stronger, more engaged community. To maintain the momentum, these meetings are often held on a regular basis, ensuring ongoing efforts and a sustained impact over time.
