The Community Builders is an initiative that began in 2021. These community advocacy meetings aim to bring community members, leaders, and stakeholders together to identify and address specific challenges or opportunities within their locality. The goals usually include improving living conditions, promoting equity, and advocating for positive changes.
Ultimately, community advocacy meetings empower participants by giving them a voice and the tools to make positive changes in their community. This sense of empowerment can lead to a stronger, more engaged community. To maintain the momentum, these meetings are often held on a regular basis, ensuring ongoing efforts and a sustained impact over time.
The community builders meetings take place every third Wednesday of the month from 10 am to 11:30 am. If you'd like to stay up-to-date with how to can advocate for your community, click the link below.
