The California Workplace Outreach Program empowers workers by providing them with the knowledge and tools to understand their rights and advocate for themselves in the workplace. Through targeted outreach and workshops, we educate participants on wage and hour laws, workplace safety, and anti-discrimination protections. We also help workers develop practical skills for effective communication with employers, navigating workplace challenges, and accessing resources to support both their professional and personal well-being.
The Valley Thrive Awareness Initiative focuses on critical community issues like water conservation, extreme heat, ITIN awareness, and youth behavioral health. In partnership with the Office of Community Partnerships and Strategic Communications (OCPSC), we conduct outreach and education to raise awareness and engage the community.
In partnership with the American Cancer Society and as members of the Tobacco Prevention Coalition of Stanislaus (TOPS) coalition, we are dedicated to reducing the harmful effects of tobacco use in Stanislaus County. Through these efforts, we educate youth and adults about the risks of tobacco, empower communities to advocate for wellness and promote the establishment of tobacco-free spaces.
