Community-Based Prevention & Access to Care

 WMCC is also an active member of the Tobacco Prevention Stanislaus (TOPS) Coalition, working alongside partners to reduce the harmful effects of tobacco in Stanislaus County. Through education, community engagement, and policy advocacy, we support efforts that promote tobacco-free spaces and protect youth and families from tobacco-related harm. 

TOPS COALITION 

As part of our commitment to chronic disease prevention, WMCC hosts a community walking group called Wellness in Every Step. This initiative encourages families, seniors, and community members to engage in regular physical activity in a supportive, welcoming environment.
